David E. Little
Attorney
As a former Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps, David
E. Little understands what it takes to fight against the toughest accusations
made against military service members. For this reason, he has dedicated
his career to safeguarding the futures and rights of those who have been
accused of criminal offenses. David has stood by the sides of more than
100 United States military members before administrative discharge and
court-martial hearings. Due to his passion for helping others, David was
selected for inclusion in the
Texas Super Lawyers® Rising Starsâ„ list in 2006 and 2007.
Before joining Military Justice International, David served as a lawyer
for a civil litigation firm. During that time, he focused majority of
his practice handling cases involving medical malpractice, construction
law, product liability, commercial litigation, and litigation defense.
David’s legal career was put on hold when he was requested to return
to active duty. In 2005, he served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and was
deployed with the 2nd Marine Division in western Al Anbar. Upon his return, David recommitted
his life to his legal practice.
Before committing his life to judiciary work, David attended the University
of Texas, Austin where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in History. Following
his undergraduate coursework, he enrolled at The University of Texas School
of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate. Since then, he has devoted
his life to helping those in need of aggressive and relentless legal representation.
Currently, David Little holds memberships in a wide range of associations,
including the State Bar of Texas, the Austin Bar Association, the Judge
Advocate’s Association, the Texas Association of Defense Counsel,
the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel, and the Defense Research
Institute.
